Jerusalem Quarterly, Winter 2020 (Special Issue)

This is the second part of the special issue of the Jerusalem Quarterly on the theme of Palestinian homes and houses, with more of the interesting and diverse material that draw on different disciplines and theoretical frames, yet all contribute to widening the range of this important line of inquiry. The stories the authors tell are painful to contemplate, but they all contain glimmers of hope as they touch on the intimacies and material politics generated by the relationship between house and home, specifically, the act of “home-making.”
