Musa Nasir (1895-1971)

Biography | Musa Hanna Nasir who hailed from Birzeit was one of the most prominent educators in Palestine. Before the Nakba, he established the Institute of Public Administration" in Jerusalem and the Arab Education Society, then contributed to the development of Birzeit College and laid the foundations for its transformation into an two-year community college. He chaired the higher education commission that was tasked with establishing a university in Jordan.
