The Institute publishes four quarterly journals in English, French and Arabic. These are independently edited and published from Washington, Jerusalem, Paris, and Beirut respectively.

Journal of Palestine Studies
(English)
The Journal of Palestine Studies, one of the most important publications of the Institute, was established in 1971. Published and distributed for the Institute by the University of California Press, Berkeley, the Journal is the only English language quarterly devoted exclusively to the study of Palestinian affairs and the Arab-Israeli conflict. Through its articles and interviews, it gives readers a full range of outlooks of scholars, decision makers, foreign policy analysts, journalists, and political activists of various nationalities -Arab, American, European, and Israeli. The Journal's reference sections include surveys of the various peace negotiation tracks; updates on the Israeli settlements; reviews of English, Arabic, and Hebrew publications; selections of current Arab, Israeli, and international documents; a detailed day-by-day chronology; and an extensive bibliography of periodical literature.
Editor : Dr. Rashid I. Khalidi

Revue d'études palestiniennes
(French)
The IPS French quarterly, Revue d'études palestiniennes, which began publication in 1982, is independently edited and produced by IPS Paris. The Revue is printed and distributed by Editions de Minuit, a leading French publishing house. The Revue is the only French periodical specializing in Palestinian affairs and the Arab-Israeli conflict, providing a unique service to the Francophone world.
Editor : Dr. Elias Sanbar

Majallat al-Dirasat al-Filastiniyah
(Arabic)
The Institute's Arabic quarterly, the Majallat, was founded in 1990. Edited in London and published through the Beirut office, it is simultaneously reprinted in Ramallah in the West Bank for distribution in the Occupied Territories and in Israel. The Arabic journal provides a major forum for the discussion and evaluation of the latest developments in Palestinian affairs. Backed by a team of Palestinian Hebraists, the Majallat monitors and analyzes Israeli trends, both official and unofficial, as well as international policies concerning Palestinians. The journal also forms a vital intellectual link between Palestinian academics and researchers inside and outside Palestine.
Editor : Dr. Ahmad Samih Khalidi

Jerusalem Quarterly (formerly the Jerusalem Quarterly File)
(English)
The Jerusalem Quarterly (JQ) is published by the Institute of Jerusalem Studies (IJS), an affiliate of the Institute for Palestine Studies. Support for JQF comes from contributions by the Ford Foundation (Cairo) and International Service (Jerusalem). This journal is dedicated to providing scholarly articles on Jerusalem's history and on the dynamics and trends currently shaping the city. The journal covers issues such as zoning and land appropriation, the establishment and expansion of settlements, regulations affecting the status of Arab residency in Jerusalem, demographic trends, and formal and informal Palestinian negotiating strategies on the final status of Jerusalem. We are also committed to tracing developments in the way the city is experienced by its inhabitants. We present articles that analyze changes in the mental geography and the everyday consciousness of Jerusalemites and that examine the role of religion, culture, and the media in the struggles to claim the city.
Editor : Dr. Salim Tamari
