About the event: 

Host Omar Baddar sits down with Amer Shurrab, a Palestinian from Khan Yunis, Gaza who has lost six of his family members as a result of Israeli attacks on Gaza since 2009. Amer recounts the story of his two brothers who were shot and killed by Israeli soldiers during Operation Cast Lead in 2009. The most recent attacks on Gaza have left three of his cousins dead and his family farm destroyed. Amer is currently a masters student at the Monterey Institute of International Studies in California. He is also a graduate of Middlebury College in Vermont, USA.
